So long and thanks for all the FORTRAN

Ok, this is too funny not to share. Rich M. just sent me this, moments after I sent my last entry about leaving LAM/MPI:

Did you ever hear about the cake? When Arun and I left Sandia the first summer we were there, Arun discovered you could get cakes printed up at Cosco (you know, with a photo or whatever on it). So he had a SLIDE made up of all the results (e.g., tiny graphs), titled it “So long and thank for all the FORTRAN” and served to the CSRI… It was Arun shining in his typical brilliance. fortunately, he keeps photographic evidence:
